Our turn around time ranges between 3-7 business days, depending on the product and order volume. Times may be longer during peak and holiday seasons. This does not include shipping times.

How long does it take to receive my order?

All items are handmade by me, so please allow up to 3-5 business days for production before shipping. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your order is on its way! Once your order is shipped, I'm not responsible for time delays or damages. If you receive your item(s) damaged, please contact me at kimthomas@rusticauradesigns.com and we will work together to find a resolution. 

Will my item look exactly like the photos?

I do my best to accurately represent colors and materials, but slight differences may occur due to screen settings, wood grain, stain absorption, handmade details, and natural materials.

No two wood pieces behave exactly the same. Some boards wake up and choose chaos.

Are your items handmade?

Yes! My items are laser cut and/or engraved, then precisely put together by hand.
Because my products are handmade and made to order, slight variations may occur, making each piece unique.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! I love bringing your ideas to life. Whether it’s a name, quote, or special date, I’m happy to personalize something just for you. Just send me a message to get started.

Can I request different colors or sizes?

In many cases, yes! If you'd like a different stain color, paint color, size, or wording, contact us before ordering and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

What size are your signs?

Sizes vary depending on the design. Each product listing includes size details, but if you have something specific in mind, I’m happy to work with you.

What materials do you use?

Materials vary by product but may include:

• Wood (solid and veneer)
• MDF with veneer or printed top and bottom
• Acrylic
• Leather/Leatherette
• Laser-cut elements
• Paints and stains
• UV resin
• Ribbon, greenery, and decorative accents

Each listing will include specific material details when applicable.

Can I rush my order?

If you’re on a tight timeline, send me a message before placing your order. I’ll do my best to accommodate rush requests when possible for a small rush fee.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

I offer a 15-day return window on all non-custom items. The 15 days begin on the date your order is delivered. For the most accurate and up-to-date details, please refer to the Return Policy linked at the bottom of the page.

         Please note:
         Custom/personalized items and gift cards are not eligible for returns or                         exchanges.

When you receive your item and the box is damaged, please record yourself opening the package. I will need that as proof for myself and the post office if the item is also damaged. I will also require pictures of the damaged item.

How do I hang my sign?

Most signs come with a sawtooth hanger or jute rope on the back. If you have a preference, just let me know!

Are your porch leaners weatherproof?

Our porch leaners and wood signs are best suited for covered porches or indoor use.

While some items may be sealed for added protection, they are not considered fully weatherproof and prolonged exposure to rain, snow, direct sunlight, or humidity may cause damage over time.

Wood has personality. Sometimes a little too much personality.

How should I care for my sign or decor item?

To help your item last longer:

• Keep wood decor dry
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
• Do not soak or pressure wash
• Store seasonal items indoors when not in use
• Porch leaners should not be in direct weather. Keep on a covered porch or patio.
• Wipe with a dry or damp cloth to remove any debris that may accumulate.
  

A little care goes a long way toward keeping your decor looking beautiful.

• I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
• To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging (if applicable). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. I do not accept returns or exchanges on custom/personalized items. 
• To start a return, contact me at kimthomas@rusticauradesigns.com. 
  If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 
• I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON CUSTOM/PERSONALIZED ITEMS.
